Chinese Spring Festival Culture and life consciousness
Spring Festival has the longest history in China. It is the most ceremonious, popular and closely related festival. It came into being in the background of Chinese traditional agricultural society, deeply influenced by Chinese traditional culture, and permeated with a strong sense of life. The origin of the Spring Festival, the folk customs, the artistry and the cultural characteristics of the Spring Festival all reflect the concept of the existence and longevity of life, the reproduction of offspring and the eternal life of soul from different aspects. On the basis of previous studies, this paper discusses the relationship between spring festival culture and life consciousness from the origin, folk customs, artistry and cultural characteristics of Spring Festival. In addition to the introduction and conclusion, the thesis is divided into four parts: first, the origin and life consciousness of Spring Festival. On the origin of the Spring Festival, the representative theories in the academic circle are the theory of sacrificial rites, the theory of witchcraft rituals and the theory of ghost festival. Each of these statements has its own reasonable and credible points, but no matter which one is closer to the Spring Festival, they all embody a common feature - containing the outlook on life based on the traditional Chinese original philosophy - offspring reproduction, immortal soul and eternal life of life. 2、 Life consciousness in the folk custom of Spring Festival. This part mainly analyzes the concept of life longevity, offspring reproduction and eternal soul from the aspects of sacrifice custom, food custom, social fire custom, new year painting custom and lantern festival custom. 3、 The artistry and life consciousness of Spring Festival. This part mainly discusses the relationship between life reproduction and consciousness of immortality, the publicity of dragon lantern and consciousness of life, Yangge and farming. 4、 The cultural characteristics and life consciousness of Spring Festival. Through the understanding of the natural characteristics of the Spring Festival to determine the agricultural time, to serve agricultural production. The Spring Festival is developed from religious sacrifice, in which a large number of sacrificial customs are preserved. Sacrifice is the ancient ancestors' hope on the gods to protect the agricultural harvest and pray for them to bless the weather and the harvest year by year. The political characteristic of Spring Festival is that the rulers set up a calendar to guide farming in order to maintain their own rule. In a word, to explore the relationship between spring festival culture and life consciousness will help us to understand the connotation of Spring Festival from a deeper level and the internal reasons why Spring Festival has been flourishing since ancient times. At the same time, we have a deeper understanding of the inevitability of the emergence, development and existence of Chinese traditional festivals. We can further perceive the characteristics of Chinese traditional festivals and Chinese traditional culture, and make better use of festival folk customs to serve production and life.
